Where it Started

Hi, I'm Wendy, the owner of Chunky Town Cookies. I am a fully licensed & registered micro cottage baker here in Redding, CA.

At Chunky Town Cookies, the passion for baking started from Mom's kitchen. Homeschooling days often mixed with home cooked meals, and home baked treats. Hobby baking has created pleasure for me in learning processes and seeing the gratification on my family's faces with each scrumptious bite.

Both milk and semi sweet chocolates combined for a classic cookie treat!

Peanut butter with peanut chips and chunks of peanuts!

Oatmeal with lots of plump raisins for a nice chewy chunky bite!

Our home cookie - chunks of milk chocolate, pecans, and sprinkled with sea salt.

    Home Baking at its Best

    Thank you for supporting my small business. My baking successes (and flops) have evolved for over 20 years. Betty Crocker, Martha Stewart, Ree Drummond, Sally McKenney, Anne Burrell…. just to name a few great chefs/bakers that inspire me. Only recently have I contemplated this business option for myself to share with our local community. My family and friends enjoy chunks, so I hope you do too!


    Pick 2x a week; Friday afternoons & Saturday mornings. Times may vary during summer due heat exposure

    Pick up Hours: Friday afternoons 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm and Saturday mornings 10 am - 12 noon

    10:00 am – 12:00 pm

    Pick up day is usually on the same day as bake day, and the next morning. I bake 1-2 times a week. There will always be 3 consistent flavors each week and the alternating weeks in the month. Watch for new flavor drops during the month, as they will only be available for limited timeframes!
